To activate ESET NOD32, we need the following data: Username and Password. They can be obtained by purchasing a license on the official website or by activating a trial version.
Please note that on the main page of the site you can always take, the validity of which is 30 days from the date of publication.
The site has a key generator with which you can get a free license for 7 days. One e-mail address can be used repeatedly.
By activating the trial version, you get 30 days, so reinstalling the trial version is more profitable than getting the key using the generator.
Instruction:
1. Open ESET NOD32 antivirus by clicking on the icon in the system tray of the Windows taskbar.
2. Press the key combination "Ctrl + U"then the window will open "License Information".
Note: The window will appear only if the antivirus is already activated and you want to renew the license. For the first activation, go to the tabs depending on the version of your antivirus. Doesn't work in version 9.
3. In the appropriate fields, enter your received Username and Password.
4. Click "OK".
5. Congratulations! Your license is activated and your computer is protected against viruses.
6. Select a section "Update" and update the virus signature database to the latest version.

3.1. Method number 1
3.1.1. Go to the main page of our website and copy the 20-digit license key in the format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
Note: Username and Password, which is used to activate version 4-8, can be converted into a license key and used to activate version 9. To do this, go to https://my.eset.com/convert, fill in the fields and get the generated key.
3.1.2. Paste the key in the special field of the antivirus and click on the button"Activate".
3.2. Method number 2
3.2.3. Select a country.
3.2.4. Click on the button "Activate".
4. Activation was successful. Click Done.
5. Update the virus signature database. To do this, select the section "Update" and click on the button Update Now.

1. Open the antivirus window by clicking the ESET icon in the lower right corner of the screen with the left mouse button.
2. Select a section "Setup" and click on the button "Activation of the program" or "Not activated".

1. Double-click the antivirus icon in the Windows notification area to open the main program window.
2. Go to the section "Setup" and click on the button "Activation of the program" or "Not activated"if activation is carried out for the first time.
3. In the window that appears, we are prompted to select the type of program activation:

3.1.2. Enter Username and Password in the appropriate fields.

4. ESET NOD32 has been successfully activated. To complete, click Done.
5. Go to the section "Update" and download the latest virus signature database by clicking on the button Update Now. Now your computer is maximally protected from viruses!

1. Open the program window by double-clicking on the antivirus icon in the Windows taskbar.
2. Go to the section "Setup" and click on the button "Activation of the program" or "Not activated".
3. There are two ways to activate ESET security software:
3.1. Method number 1

4. The program activation window will be automatically closed. If you clearly followed the instructions, the program must be activated.
5. To check this, go to "Update" and check the activation status of the program. Recommended Update virus signature database for maximum virus protection.

1. Double-click on the ESET NOD32 icon in the lower right corner of the screen to open the program window.
2. Go to the section "Update" and click on the button "Setting Username and Password"
1. Make sure that opposite the inscription "Download and Install Browser with Protect" checked (without this checkmark, you will not be given a key).
2. Press the button Install a trial version.
3. Copy the received keywith which you can activate the antivirus.
* ESET prohibits placing activation keys for ESET NOD32 software products on the Internet. The Activation Key is issued after downloading during the installation of the free version.
Registration and Installation Guide
How do I Register ESET?
Please visit https://eset.version-2.sg/download/register/ to input Product Serial Number and related information to register NOD32.
Please be remarked that you must input information with the column marked with * symbol. You will receive new username and password through the email address you provided within 15 minutes.
* After you registered the serial number once, it will activate all the number of users you purchased at the same time and all the licensed computers will be used the same username and password.
* Download, install and activate ESET Smart Security using ESET Live Installer
* Download, install and activate ESET Smart Security using a CD
I. Uninstall other antivirus software
You must uninstall any previously installed antivirus software from your system before installing your ESET product (uninstallers for common antivirus software). When you are finished, continue to part II to install your product.
II. Download the ESET Live Installer or insert CD
If you have a CD, insert the CD into your computer (if the installation does not begin automatically, click Start → Computer and double-click the ESET disc icon) and proceed to part II. If you do not have a functioning CD drive, follow the steps below to download your product:
1. https://eset.version-2.sg/download/home/
2. Click Save when prompted and save the file to your Desktop (once the download has completed, you may be prompted to click Run and begin the installation process. If the installer does not run automatically, navigate to your Desktop or wherever you saved the downloaded file and double-click it to open). When you are ready, continue to part III.
III. Install ESET Smart Security
1. In the Install ESET Security screen, click Continue.
2. Click I Accept.
3. Select the check box next to Yes, I want to participate (recommended). In the Detection of Potentially Unwanted Applications section, select your preferred option (see What is a potentially unwanted application?) and click Install.
4. Click Done to exit the Installation Wizard.
5. The Product activation window will open automatically. Type or copy/paste your License Key into the blank field and click Activate. If you have a CD, type your Activation Key (printed on the label) into the blank field. Be sure to include hypens. I don't have my License Key email us.
6. If you entered your credentials correctly, you will see the Activation successful screen. Click Done to complete your activation. If you have a CD and used an Activation Key to activate, you will see a registration screen. Complete all relevant fields and click Activate → Done.
7. In the Network connectionfound window, click Home or office network.
8. In the ESET Anti-Theft screen, click Create new account (if you already have an account, use your my.eset.com email address and password to login). If the window does not appear automatically, click Setup → Security tools and then click the slider next to Anti-Theft
9. Type a name for your device into the Device name field and click Next.
10. Click Createnew account online.
11. Fill in the required fields and click Create new my.eset.com account.
