Nero v9.9.4.26.0 serial key or number

  Normally when you try to install a purchased Nero version on another computer, it will, in essence, ask you why you're doing that. It will then give you some options. The correct one is a permanent transfer or, something like that.
  
  If you have an Essentials version, you probably won't be able to transfer to another computer because it's a OEM version that's tyed to the original computer.
  
  Please clarify what you have.

  Nero 9 Essentials , not CD, but downloaded from site with free backup and burn with it's own key. Haven't tried to down load it yet.

  I don't understand. In your opening post, you said you have a v9 Reloaded serial number.
  
  Reloaded is a full version.
  
  You then posted that you have Nero 9 Essentials. That will have it's own serial number.
  
  Backitup and Burn 4 was an add-on to v9. It also has it's own serial number.
  
  Where are you getting all these serial numbers (URL)?
  
  What one has to be careful of when getting any obsolete and free software from the internet is that, if the serial number has been used, you won't be able to use it. There's a plethora of websites like eBay that have Nero serial numbers for sale. Most of them have been used. In all fairness, there are Nero versions for sale on the likes of eBay which the seller specifies that the software has never been installed. The amount of money a lot of people want for old Nero versions is exorbitant. You can buy Nero 2015 for what some of these people want for those old versions.

  Sorry about that. I have Nero 9 Reloaded. I went from Nero 7 oem to Nero 8 oem and then Nero 9 Reloaded version (Nero 9.4.26.0 exe with free backitup & burn download version 1.2.17b.exe) I purchased online from the Nero store. I should have gotten out my receipt and looked at it BEFORE replying to you. I'm not computer savvy. (besides I'm 73 years old and my mind at what it use to be lol.) I don't buy anything off EBay or any place except the real stores. The two serial #'s ( license key are off the receipt I printed went I purchased them on 3/23/2010. I can't remove it from my old computer , it completely crashed and burned, literally. I hope this helps you to help me.

  No problem. I was just trying to make sure I was headed in the right direction.
  
  I can't remember at what point I got the message but, when I had to reinstall v9 on a new hard drive, it asked me why I was doing that. I think the first option was to make a permanent transfer and the second was to run it on two computers. The first one was the correct one since you can only activate the patents on one computer.
  
  However, in your case, it's not accepting the serial number. I'll play devil's advocate and ask you if you inserted all 39 characters including hypens, correctly? My serial starts with 9M03 (don't post your serial number here).
  
  If you bought it at the online shop, you should have an account. If you open that, you could check your serial number for accuracy.
  
  Probably the best thing to do is go to nero.com, support, Contact and send an e-mail to Customer Service. You can also send an e-mail to techsupport@nero.com.
  
  Finally, 9.4.26 is out of date. Go to nero.com, downloads, previous product downloads. Click on the Nero 9 Update and download it. Use that for your installation rather than your existing installation file.

  a) What's OS? I'm not computer savvy. (is this what it mean, operating system ? Windows 7, is this what you mean?)

  I don't know how do snapshots.
  When I try again, it tells me the same thing every time. I reinstalled Nero 7 from CD and then used all capitol letters to try to install 9 and it downloaded 9, now I have two separate versions supposedly installed but neither works. When I try it tells me it's unable to connect to internet. In my programs it shows Nero 7 with version and date but It only shows Nero (, no version or date.
  Have I got you totally confused now?
