Reinstalled and Product Key not working?
This is a conversation with Microsoft after the forums on Steam did not help. Reinstalling GfWL did not help. It still states the product key is in use. I don't have another GfWL account. According to Microsoft, they turned over all games needing GfWL to Steam and this is an issue for Steam to correct. So I put in a ticket I hope in the appropriate manner. I'd rather keep the game and get my DLC working. But on this particular title, I don't think the left hand knows what the right is doing. So who handles the support if it's not Microsoft, Lionsgate, or Steam?

The game and DLC's themselves. The game and DLC's were purchased October 8th, 2011. I reinstalled the game to play it again and the games product key is not working. It states it's "In Use".

Upon reading the forums, the only way to get the DLC I purchased is by signing into Windows Live. The game and/or Windows Live states the product key is in use and states I've signed in in "offline" mode, which doesn't give me access to my DLC.

Just a heads up, games for Windows live is being supported by Steam and since you actually bought the game from them, I would suggest that you will need to contact Steam since they do have the access and control with games on windows live and we actually don't have access on their system. No worries, they will be able to manually fix this on their end since they are the one who is handling cases like this,.

Actually, Windows live and games for windows live is handling by Steam. And we xbox chat support agent only supports console issues and game issues for xbox console.

It worked! Go to control panel and uninstall EVERYTHING that has to do with Games For Windows Live (GFWL and GFWL Marketplace). Download and install the newest GFWL from here[www.xbox.com] (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Live/PC/DownloadClient). Log in with you Microsoft / GFWL account.

Alright, to make sure of everything here. Support for GfWL is not being handled by our system. We don't have any option to see or access any tool for GfWL. And GfWL has been discontinued almost years ago and since all the games for Windows live came from Steam. Then we transferred all the GfWL to Steam now. I hope you understand.

Thanks for your replies guys. I am afraid I posted on both the Lionhead forums and the GFW forums but in the Lionhead forums I just got trolled and no answer on GFW. I also tried the Xbox forums but no reply there so far as well.
To elaborate a bit more on my problem. I have purchased the DLC from Steam and I can see them when I click on the DLC button on my Library page on Steam. I am able to play the game and enter the Live menu using the "Home" button and not the Steam menu which is activate by pressing Shift+Tab (default binds). I am actually 90% through the game and the only DLC I was able to get were the Free Weapons.
In the Live menu (Home), I go to my profile and select Redeem Code. I enter the serial and I get an invalid serial number error. I try to enter the DLC serial numbers and the system tells me to try later, which I've been doing for weeks now.
To activate the downloadable content after your purchase, launch Fable III and copy the Product Code from the Steam overlay into your clipboard. Once the game launches and the Gamertag sign-in process completes, press the Home key to bring up the Games for Windows Live overlay. Click Gamertag, select Redeem Code, and paste in the Product Code to initiate the download process.
Alternatively, Product Code for the downloadable content may be redeemed from a web browser at https://live.xbox.com/RedeemToken.
What I mention above in the Home menu as Live menu, is what is described above as Game of Windows Live overalay. I followed these steps and got the errors I mentioned above and in my original question.

Same thing here Fable III bought on Steam PC and the Information of Lionhead Studios is that the problem is, take a guess, Microsoft Studios, the publisher, that has not given anymore CD-Keys. That's all everybody (Steam, Lionhead Studios and finally us) is waiting for. Microsoft, if the admin/support engineer/moderator of this thing here could pass this information for somebody who actually solves the problem it would be appreciated; even more if he could solve it himself.

WE JUST WANT TO PLAY THE GAME WE PAYED FOR!!!!
